Intrigued, the attorney leaned closer as the elderly man held the small item up to the light, slurring his words,<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, it appears to be plastic.\u201d<\/p>\n

He proceeded to roll it between his fingers, adding,<\/p>\n

\u201cBut it has the texture of rubber.\u201d<\/p>\n

Curiosity got the best of the attorney, who inquired,<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat is that you have there?\u201d<\/p>\n

The elderly man responded,<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not entirely sure, but it looks like plastic and feels like rubber.\u201d<\/p>\n

The attorney then offered,<\/p>\n

The elderly man handed it over, and the lawyer carefully examined it, rolling it between his thumb and fingers. He scrutinized it with a close inspection, even sniffing and giving it a tentative lick.<\/p>\n
