Hang in there boy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the checkout, the little terror is throwing items out of the cart, and Gramps again, in a controlled voice, is saying, \u201cAlbert, Albert, relax buddy, don\u2019t get upset. We\u2019ll be home in five minutes; stay cool, Albert.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Very impressed, the woman goes outside where Gramps is loading his groceries and the boy into the car.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know, sir, it\u2019s none of my business, but you were amazing in there. I don\u2019t know how you did it. That whole time, you kept your composure, and no matter how loud and disruptive he got, you just calmly kept saying things would be okay. Albert is very lucky to have you as his grandpa.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThanks, lady,\u201d said Gramps,<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut, I\u2019m Albert \u2013 that little mongrel\u2019s name is Carl and I\u2019m going to drink a lot of whiskey when I get home.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A woman in a grocery store happens upon a grandfather and his poorly behaved 3 year-old grandson.
