One late evening, a weary Marine arrived in a small town, only to discover that all the hotel rooms were fully booked.<\/p>\n

As he reached the final hotel, he implored the manager, \u201cPlease, there must be someplace to rest, even just a bed, I don\u2019t mind where.\u201d<\/p>\n

The manager reluctantly admitted, \u201cWell, I do have a double room with a lone occupant, a Navy personnel. He might be willing to split the cost, but there\u2019s a catch. He snores so loudly that previous guests in neighboring rooms have complained. I\u2019m not sure if it\u2019s worth it to you.\u201d<\/p>\n

The fatigued Marine replied, \u201cNo worries, I\u2019ll take it.\u201d The following morning, the Marine appeared at breakfast, well-rested and full of energy.<\/p>\n

The manager inquired, \u201cHow did you sleep?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBetter than ever,\u201d replied the Marine.<\/p>\n

The manager was impressed and inquired, \u201cNo trouble with the other guy\u2019s snoring, then?\u201d<\/p>\n

The Marine chuckled, \u201cNope, I managed to silence him quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Curious, the manager asked, \u201cHow did you achieve that?\u201d<\/p>\n
