He also said the timing of the trial was unfair.<\/p>\n<p class>\u201cAs soon as we can appeal, we will,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class>He expressed similar sentiments during a Fox News interview, saying he did not believe Trump received a fair trial.<\/p>\n<p class>\u201cWe\u2019ve been saying for over a year that we couldn\u2019t get a fair trial in Manhattan, we couldn\u2019t get a fair trial with the judge, and it played out exactly as we expected,\u201d Blanche said on Fox.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class>Asked on CNN why Trump did not take the stand, Blanche said, \u201cOf course he wanted to testify,\u201d but he emphasized that it was a difficult decision. <\/p>\n<p class>\u201cHe wanted to get his story out,\u201d Blanche said. <\/p>\n<p class>In the CNN interview, Blanche explained what it was like to work with Trump, saying the past several weeks were \u201ceverything\u201d he would \u201cexpect and want\u201d out of a client. <\/p>\n<p class>Asked who was in charge of the defense strategy, him or Trump, Blanche said it was both of them.
