A Boy Comes Back From School With A Failed Result Sheet
A young boy returned home from school with a heavy heart, his spirit dampened by the zero he received on his geography exam.
“The teacher gave me a zero because I couldn’t answer a question about Portugal,” he lamented.
His concerned mother inquired, “What was the question?”
“It was, ‘Where is Portugal?'”
With a mix of frustration and determination, his mother declared, “That teacher is being unreasonable. I’ll be contacting the principal’s office. Meanwhile, let’s embark on a quest to find Portugal ourselves.”
She retrieved a map of their state but couldn’t locate Portugal. She then examined a regional map to no avail. Even a city map proved fruitless in her search.
“I’m certain Portugal can’t be too far away,” she reassured herself. “After all, our maid, who hails from Portugal, cycles here for work every day.”
