The Marine Searching For The Last Hotel Room

Late one evening, a Marine arrived in a small town only to discover that all the hotel rooms were occupied. Desperate for a place to rest, he reached the last hotel and pleaded with the manager, “You must have a room or even just a bed available, I don’t mind where.”

The manager hesitated before disclosing, “Well, there is a double room with a Navy occupant, and he might be willing to split the cost. But I should warn you, he snores loudly, and previous guests in adjoining rooms have complained. It might not be worth it.”

Undeterred, the weary Marine assured him, “No problem, I’ll take it.”

The following morning, the Marine appeared at breakfast looking refreshed.

“How was your sleep?” inquired the manager.

“Fantastic,” replied the Marine.

The manager, intrigued, questioned, “No issues with the other guy snoring?”

“Not at all. I took care of it,” the Marine confidently stated.

Curious, the manager asked, “How did you manage that?”

“He was already in bed, snoring away when I entered the room. I walked over, gave him a kiss on the cheek, said, ‘Goodnight, beautiful,’ and after that, he stayed up all night watching me…”
