A Veterinarian Was Feeling ill and Went to Doctor
A veterinarian, feeling unwell, visited her doctor’s office.
The doctor began the usual inquiry, asking about her symptoms and how long they had been bothering her when she interrupted him, saying, “As a vet, I don’t need to ask my patients a series of irritating questions; I can diagnose the issue just by observing. Why can’t you?”
The doctor nodded, took a step back, assessed her briefly, swiftly wrote a prescription, handed it to her, and remarked, “There you go. Of course, if this treatment doesn’t work, we might need to consider a different approach.”
